Itinerary

Ascent to the Cabane de Dix through the Pas de Chevre (2,928 m).

 

Dinner and overnight stay.

From the hut to the Col de Cheillon, crossing the Cheillon Glacier and then the Gietro Glacier. Descent back to the hut via the same route as the ascent.

 

Dinner and overnight stay.

From the Cabane de Dix, ascend via the Mur de la Serpentine, passing through two passes on a long route to the summit of Pigne d'Arolla. An exciting and equally long descent follows from the Col de Vignettes on the Glacier de Pièce down to Arolla.

The equipment marked with (*) can be provided by the guide if you do not have it, at a cost of 10 euros per item.

The fee includes:

  • Logistical organization and hut reservations

  • Rental of skis, boots, skins, ski crampons, avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe.
  • Transfers and guide expenses (including overnight stay)
  • Accommodation in the refuge and additional expenses
  • Lifts or lift systems
  • Rental of technical equipment (harness, ice axe, crampons, helmet)
  • Everything not specified in "Included in the fee"
